"I Just Work Here" presents: Sweet and Sour Slasher
Ironically, as I draw a comic where Javiera is saying she needs to relax I myself am having an instanely stressful week and need to do the same.
I really struggled with the background on this one. They're watching a movie at night, so it's going to be dark, but I wasn't sure how to go about inking it. On the one hand an all-black background is simple to do, on the other I wasn't sure that was what was required. I actually inked the entire background for the first three panels before realizing I was going about it wrong. After spending a few hours trying to figure out how to shade the background but still make it look coherent I realized I needed to just take a huge brush and make it all look coherent. On a final note there's a chance there will be no comic next week. As I mentioned above I have been overly stressed the past week or two dealing with some personal stuff and may not be able to put a comic together this weekend. We'll see how that goes. If no comic there will be something fun in it's place! See you next Friday!
