Darren and Allison are not very good at this game. Also, I learned a fun fact about Jamaica as I wrote this! I had wrongly assumed Spanish is spoken in Jamaica, and while it's not unheard of according to the internet you don't hear that much of it. Who knew, right? Not Darren or Allison. Or me. 0_0
I'm not sure how I managed to get this up on time... because I GOT SICK AGAIN. Clearly I have not made sufficient sacrifices to the Cootie Gods because I feel like I cannot catch a break. There are several local bugs going around and the doctor informed me I caught a particularly nasty virus that imitates the flu but is not the flu; it comes with an insanely sore throat and a bad cough. I am pretty much on the mend but I've lost my voice from all the coughing, and if I hadn't got most of this done last Sunday I would not have it up tonight.
Now if you'll excuse me I am going to make an appropriate sacrifice to the Cootie Gods to prevent future sickness; hopefully they appreciate used tissues.
