I have never had as much fun drawing an IJWH comic as I did with the earthquake lines here. None of that is Photoshopped.
Earthquakes can compete with politics for headlines in DC; who knew?. Truthfully, I'm not much a political cartoonist; political cartoons require such a high level of cynicism that while I may be able to come up with an appropriately scathing joke to fit the style, it doesn't take long for that kind of humor to leave a bad taste in my mouth. But every once in a while, I just can't help myself.
We got off pretty lucky, with the exceptions of some real property damage in the Mineral, VA area (houses shifted off their foundations, etc). The rest of us, not from that area, would like to thank the country, and FEMA, for your undying support and assistance. Without your help, we would still be re-hanging pictures on our walls and setting our lawn chairs back upright.
