This was a Father's Day gift for my dad. That's an F-15 Silent Eagle and the respective fighter pilot gear that 'coon is wearing. My dad, being retired Air Force LOVES fighter jets and things, and actually wanted to be a fighter pilot. And I, being a military brat grew up surrounded by these things.
Some of my best memories from living on Maxwell Air Force Base are seeing the Thunderbirds do their show.... everyone on base would gather out on the tarmac and get to sit in the pilot's seat of various carriers, fighter jets and commercial airplanes, then we'd all watch the Thunderbird pilots suit up, take off and put on a show. Some of the aerial maneuvers these guys would do were scary, but it was so fun to watch.
